1. Book Sale - A fundraiser for A Chance for Bliss Animal Sanctuary in Penryn will be held July 25 & 26, 8-noon. The Sanctuary takes in old and special-needs animals and gives them a home for life. www.achanceforbliss.com Thousands of items will be sold including books, CDs, DVDs, audio books and many miscellaneous items. What a wonderful way to find a pet and help a homeless dog or cat. I salute the people who are in charge of these organizations for homeless pets.
