Second Saturdays are big in Sacramento. From when I remembered years ago having the Second Saturday Art walk to now, the whole city seems to come alive with this event. There are several happenings from Open Houses to Charity Organizations who have their events on the same night.
One of my favorite studios is Fe Gallery and & Metal Studio. Not only do they open up their studio for their own wares, but they also have other talented artists participating.
Guest Artists for August 8, 2009 include:
Wood and Metal Sculpture by Steven Florman and Glass Art by Krista Flood
The Gallery House artists will also have their wares. Sheena Wolfe will have Fused Glass and Stephan Lyman will be showing his metal sculptures.
It is worth it just to stop by, say "Hi" and check out all the interesting works of art.
